It was at 5:30 in the evening and they literally came out of nowhere from behind me. I had seen emails in the past of this happening and then you are either robbed or drugged. I immediately said "no thank you" and quickly walked away. I was under the impression it was an urban legend but now I believe it. I asked the Wal-Mary greeter where the security officer was and he didn't understand English very well. I approached an off-duty police officer who was on his way to shop and he didn't seem to care. So I called 911 as a non-emergency and they were under the impression I was calling to report a solicitor and not a possible ploy to be robbed or drugged. I'm so thankful that nothing happened but wanted to share my story so other people in LH can be on the lookout. According to snopes.com (the internet myth busters) there are legitimate perfume sellers who are aggressive, work in pairs, and sell in parking lots. I have also been approached a couple times in LH parking lots by them. However, the rape/robbery/kidnap part is an internet hoax.
